Commentary:Durack is 14 km south southwest from the Brisbane CBD and is an older suburb next door to Inala and Willawong. The area is fairly sparsely populated and most facilities are available in neighbouring Inala and Forest Lake. These include schools, sporting and shopping facilities.

Sherwood
Location: 8km south-west of Brisbane CBD

Tennyson

Seventeen Mile Rocks
Location: 14km south-west of Brisbane CBD
Features:Proximity to surrounding facilities such as Jindalee Home Base Centre and Mt Ommaney Shopping Centre
Commentary: Part of this suburb consists of newly developed housing estates and other parts are older with housing styles from the 1970s.

Corinda
Location: 9km from CBD

Commentary: Situated only 9km from the Brisbane CBD, Corinda is one of the city's more popular family suburbs with large older-style homes and a leafy quiet atmosphere. The suburb is also bounded on its western side by the Brisbane River.
